6. Energy or Touch Healing
Energy or Touch Healing is a multi-faceted spiritual energy that can be used to help us with meditation practices, spiritual growth, healing relationships, pain control, stress management and manifestation of goals while working with the 4 bodies: physical, mental, emotional and spiritual. Loretta is willing to apply and share her knowledge and skills with those brave enough to give it a try.
She will start this Monday, November 29 in the Meeting Room. If anyone would like to make an appointment to see Loretta call her at 306-387-6601.
She will be in from 1:00-3:00. (she will extend her hours, earlier or later, if there is interest)

Thanks to our very generous church family, the donations to our Food Pantry have been terrific. This week the items most needed are needed for Food Pantry: Cold Cereal, Hot Cereal, tinned fruit and tinned pasta (alphagetti, those kinds of things).

8. Announcements need to be in by noon on Thursday if you would like them in the bulletin for Sunday.

9. Poinsettia Project

The Friendship and Visitation Committee are pleased to again carry out the Christmas Poinsettia project. The church will be alive with poinsettias on December 12, and on Monday, December 13, volunteers will deliver the beautiful plants to newly bereaved and shut-ins. These plants bring Christmas cheer to many recipients. Anyone wishing to make a cash donation toward this project may do so at the office. Thank you for your support.

10. If you have a family member or know of someone who is ill in hospital or at home, please call the office and let us know. We do not have access to this information unless you tell us. (We have no access to the forms you fill out at the hospital.)

St. Paul Presbytery has supported our congregation's wish to engage in a more flexible search for a minister. While not precluding the possibility that a two-year Interim Minister may still be "found", we feel we need the flexibility to consider all other options including but not necessarily restricted to an Interim Minister for a term of less than two years; a temporary appointment; or the "call" of full time minister.
Retired Reverend Tom Sawyer of Edmonton, former chair of Alberta Northwest Conference and experienced Interim Minister, has expressed interest in the position of Interim Minister at Grace United. He could spend one week a month with us for approximately 6 months. . On Dec 6 the Transition Team and others involved in Ministry and Personnel will be meeting with him to discuss terms of his employment and to show him around Lloydminster. We are very pleased to have this opportunity to discuss this with Rev Tom Sawyer.
Members of the transition Team are Darrel Howell(chair), Shirley Aston, Brenda Ellison, Bill Luchynski, Marilyn Young, Greg Weaver and Presbytery reps - Judy Frey and Lois Greenlay Burwash.

12. Some members of our congregation are allergic to scented products so please consider this when dressing for church.
