Call to Worship:

Over three thousand years ago, a people enslaved in Egypt rebelled against the oppression of the ruler until he let the people go.
Today, the Egyptian people held under harsh martial laws for three decades rebelled against modern oppression until the leader was forced to let the people be free.
God has always fought oppression and injustice from the time of Moses until today.
May we be aware of how God is calling us to partnership in seeing that others have food, shelter and freedom.
May our worship this day bring our actions closer to the faith that we proclaim.
Let us Pray
Prayer of Approach.
God, with our imperfections we come to worship responding to your call. We come because of our own needs in our lives, but we leave aware of the needs of others. Help us now in our work of worship. We pray in Jesus’ name. Amen
