Call to Worship:
L. Imagine a community caring for each other.
P. We come together and discover the strength in community.
L. We support one another through times of joy and sorrow and discover that none of us is alone.
P. We offer our gifts and ministries to one another, discovering God’s spirit working in our midst.
L. At Grace United it is people that are our strongest resource - people open to God’s wisdom, people following the Way of Jesus,
P. As we learn and love and live together in this place, we come to worship.
L. Together we are Grace United Church, a community of help, home and hope.
Prayer of Approach:
You touch our lives, God, in many ways - you raise us up when we feel discouraged, you ground us when we are flighty and on edge, you inspire us when we have lost a sense of who we are, you accompany us in the many and varied journeys we undertake day by day. Be with us in this time of worship, and give us the direction we need to face the future with hope and energy. We pray all of this in Jesus name whose love has redeemed us. Amen
