Hymn #701 VU What does the Lord Require of You

Prayer of Humility (in unison)
Gracious God, you have come to be with us
but we have rejected you.
Jesus showed us how to care for others
and we nailed him to a cross.
Jesus modeled a new kind of leadership for us
but we thought we were better than that.
Forgive us, God. Don’t give up on us, but
teach us to live in your way. Amen.

Assurance of Love
Children’s Time
Children’s Hymn This Little Light of Mine

This little light of mine, I’m gonna let it shine.
This little light of mine, I’m gonna let it shine.
This little light of mine, I’m gonna let it shine,
let it shine, let it shine, let it shine.
No more walkin’ in darkness, I’m gonna let it shine.
No more walkin’ in darkness, I’m gonna let it shine.
No more walkin’ in darkness, I’m gonna let it shine.
I’m gonna let it shine, let it shine, let it shine, let it shine.
