Thanksgiving Service at 10:30 in our Sanctuary!

On Sunday mornings for the past four months we have enjoyed the hospitality of our Knox Presbyterian friends.  But it is time to return to our own church home.  So next Sunday, Thanksgiving Sunday,  will be "Welcome Back Sunday" for our congregation. We will also return to the traditional 10:30 worship time.  But plan to come early (10:15 am) to enjoy the music of "the pickups".  Rev. Paul's sermon on Sunday will be "What is our Gift to the Family of the Earth?"

The sanctuary is as we left it but the narthex, meeting room and main floor washroom are a bit "rustic" (but useable again) following the hazardous waste removal work in June.  All other areas of the church building are no longer useable.

Our architects and Graham Construction are getting close to a modified design that will match our budget.  We probably could begin demolition and construction this fall but the high cost of winter construction and the likelihood of more competitive pricing during the winter months makes a late winter/early spring construction start more economic.

Thanks to everyone who assisted in repairing and cleaning the church in preparation for our return.
Happy Thanksgiving to all!
