Safe Food Handling Course Information

In November 2014, there were a number of Grace United Church people (Fair Booth workers & UCW members) who took the Safe Food Handling Course at Lakeland College.  This certificate is good until November 2019.

The Fair Booth Committee will book a trainer for a Safe Food Handling Course to be held at the Church sometime in June 2019, just in time for the Fair Booth season next year

Details and cost to follow.   This course will be open to anyone & everyone in the Grace United Church family.  Hopefully, we can have 20+ people sign up, for considerable savings in the cost of the course.

If you wish to have your name put on the list, please contact Deb Lundquist at 780-871-1652 or by email deb.lundquist@shaw.ca

Cancelation of Rally

Alberta Northwest Conference rally organizers have decided to cancel the Senior and the Junior High Rally for the 2011 – 2012 year. No reason is being given to us except that a restructuring needs to take place regarding youth rally within the structure of the Alberta Conference. We of the Grace United Church rally organizing committee, known as L.A.R.T, are sadly disappointed with this decision that has been handed to us and as such are unable to proceed with our plans for the October 21 – 23 weekend.

Our sincere apologies to our youth and thank you to all the individuals who have offered your time and talents with the plans that we had made. Please send your prayers and good wishes for healing to our Conference.
