Centering Hymn: MV 16 “ Come and Fill Our hearts” (seated x 3
Centering Prayer
Loving God, Creator of all that is, here I am---today---in this place, with all the senses you have given me. Help me to use them to come to experience you more deeply. You are present everywhere around me; open me to know more of the many ways that your goodness surrounds me. (silence)
You cause the grass to grow for the cattle, and plants for people to use, to bring forth food from the earth, and wine to gladden the human heart, oil to make the face shine, and bread to strengthen the human heart. ( Ps. 104:14-15)
Share with neighbour: “What did you have for breakfast, did it gladden your heart? How?”
Hymn: VU 87 “I am the Light of the World”
Prayer
Loving Presence, You want our attention and loyalty every moment of every day. You invite us to see every aspect of creation as a window through which You reveal your mystery. Many of us acknowledge our struggle to recognize signs that point to your presence; hear our cry for help, forgive our blocked hearts and teach us new ways to seek and find meaning and purpose in and through the ordinary things of life. As we worship together, may we experience and celebrate your gifts, know release from all that binds, and be renewed in heart, soul and mind. In Jesus’ name, Amen
