L.  At the start of this new day, new year

P. Fill us, God we humbly pray.

L.  Let your spirit fill our souls

P.  Energize us and make us whole.

L.  Changed by you without, within, freed from worry

     And freed from sin.

P. As your radiance fills our soul, serving you is

     our highest goal.

Prayer of Approach: Loving God, as we gather in community to begin a new a year and a clean slate, help us to recognize what we need to change to be worthy servants. Show us what you wish for us as a congregation and as individuals.  Lead us on the amazing journey you have planned for our lives, as we walk with you. Amen
