Time With the Children:

Hymn:  "Let There Be Peace On Earth"

         Let there be peace on earth

         and let it begin with me;

         Let there be peace on earth,

          the peace that was meant to be.

         With God our creator, children all are we:

         let us walk in perfect harmony

         Let there be peace on earth

         and let it begin with me.

         Let peace begin with me,

         let this be the moment now,

         with ev'ry step I take

         let this be my solemn vow;

         to take each moment and live each moment

         in peace eternally.

         Let there be peace on earth

         and let it begin with me.           repeat V1

Honour Roll

In the war of 1914 - 1918 many of the young men of this district left and laid down their lives for King and Country: today, we honour these men.

Then came the war of 1939 - 1945. Again many of the young men of Grace United Church left this district and paid the supreme sacrifice with their lives. Let us at this time honour the following:

                        L.G. Boyd                        K. Burleigh

                        R. Fox                                    J. Fretwell

                        G. Gerow                        D.B. Olson

                        O.J. Peterson            L.O. Rogers

                        M. Taylor                        J. Winthers

            They shall grow not old as we that are left grow old

             Age shall not weary them nor years condemn

            At the going down of the sun and in the morning            We will remember them.
