Have Yourself A Jazzy Little Christmas
Have Yourself A Jazzy Little Christmas with an evening of beautiful Christmas Jazz music featuring our local jazz musicians and Saskatoon Trumpeter Barrie Redford!
Our Fund Raising Committee is hosting Jazz On the Border "A Jazzy Christmas" on November 27th. Doors open at 6:30pm and music starts at 7:30 pm.
Advance tickets only are available at the church office or contact Karen 306-825-2976. Tickets must be purchased by November 22nd. The ticket price of $60.00 includes a meal with two choices.
Choice 1: Confit Pork served with cassoulet, kale, roasted carrots and beetroots.
Choice 2: Rested Strip-Loin served with rosemary potatoes, green beans and braised fennel.
Dessert: Chocolate cake served with strawberries, cream and caramel sauce.
Time & Talent Fundraiser Auction

Time is running out to get tickets for the Time & Talent Fundraiser Auction evening. Last day for tickets sold during Church Service is Sunday, Oct. 13th. Last day to purchase from Caroline in the Office is Wednesday, Oct. 16th. We only have about 50 tickets left, so don’t delay! Just a reminder…we only accept cash or cheque.
We will be collecting auction items during Church Service on Sunday, Oct. 13th & Oct. 20th. Please bring your auction item then, or at least give us a head’s up if you have something to donate. Please do not bring to the Church Office. Please call Deb Lundquist 780-871-1652 to arrange to pick up your auction item.
We have quite a collection of auction items so far: Something for the guys…something for the girls…something to wear…something to decorate with…something to wrap up in…something to do…something to read…And…a few more surprises!!

Stewardship Moments
Cyclone Idai swept through Southern Africa in March 2019, leaving terrible disaster in its wake. Severe flooding and devastation has affected millions of people in Mozambique, Zimbabwe, and Malawi. United Church Mission & Service partner ACT Alliance, together with local partners, are assessing the impact of the crisis on the ground in order to provide immediate assistance, minimize loss of life, and ensure that the needs of the most vulnerable are met.
The United Church sent an initial contribution of $20,000 to partners and is launching a church-wide appeal to respond to massive emergency needs and support eventual rehabilitation and rebuilding.
